Because people are busy and life can be hectic, I try to make setting up visits and dog walks as painless and efficient as humanly possible.  First, we'll set up a time for a FREE consultation so we can meet face to face and get to know each other, and so I can get the "lay of the land" and gather all of the information I need to properly care for your pets.  I'll bring with me a copy of my contract to have you sign (take a look at the contract here), and I'll get your dates of service or scheduling preferences for regular dog walking as well as a key or access information.

Daily dog walks happen from about 10 AM to about 3 PM on weekdays and slots are somewhat limited.  I do my very best to provide care when my clients specifically need it, but please be aware that some days get booked up to the point where it wouldn't be wise of me to add to the schedule at the last minute.  Clients who have a regular weekly schedule (say a M,W,F dog walk) get priority since I've already commited to that schedule.  That said, I am no stranger to the 7AM "Oh my gosh, we forgot we need a walk today, can you help us?" text or email and I will do my darndest to squeeze you in if it's at all feasible!

Pet sitting visits are usually scheduled either for mornings and evenings, or in the case of a low-maintenance kitty, anytime during the day.  Let me know what your normal routine is with your pet and I will do my best to replicate it, time-wise.

Overnight pet sitting happens from about dinnertime (6-7PM) to about breakfast (7-8AM) with a midday visit thrown in.  I can work with you to arrange a more comprehensive schedule if needed.  Overnights for dogs include a morning and evening walk, meals, cuddling, etc.  Because I have a spouse and pets of my own, my availability for overnights is at times limited - the more in advance I know about them, the better my chances of being able to say YES!
